What are Octopoints?
Octopoints are credit you gain as part of the Octoplus scheme. Every time you earn them, you're building up credit that you can use to slash your energy bill or treat yourself.
Here's how you can put them to work:
Turn points into pounds: You can instantly convert your points into account credit to knock down your energy bill. 800 Octopoints = £1.
Multiply your value: They can be used at double value on Shoptopus to buy cute merch (including our iconic pink octopus plushie). FYI, all the proceeds go towards our Octo Assist funds.
Donate them to charity! We launched our charity donation tool in February 2026 and the response has bowled us over. Find out more
You’ll be able to see your Octopoints balance in the Octoplus tab of your online account or Octopus mobile app. Convert your points to cash by clicking on the "Convert Octopoints to credit" button in either the app or your online account.
