Octopus Energy's generation arm announces a new innovative solar investment in France that will save French farmers millions of euros.

Octopus has added 100 rooftop solar projects to its portfolio and is working with local partners to develop hundreds more. They'll build large sheds with solar panels producing clean power on the rooftops on farmers' land - and farmers get free use of the buildings. 

This marks the next step in Octopus' plans to rapidly ramp up its green energy activity in the country, as it targets channelling €1bn into France’s clean energy market by 2025. Full press release
