Non Half-Hourly (NHH) vs Half-Hourly (HH) meters - what's the difference?

Non Half-Hourly meters

Handle lower volumes of energy

🧠 Are usually smart meters

🏢 Tend to be found at businesses with smaller energy needs

If you’re a Non Half-Hourly (NHH) customer, we’ll bill you to your latest meter reading.

If you have a smart NHH meter, it will send us your latest meter reading(s) each month.

If you have a traditional (non-smart) meter, you’ll need to submit your meter reading(s) each month via your online account.

Half-Hourly meters

️ Can handle much higher volumes of electricity

📞 Can communicate with your energy provider

🏭 Tend to be found at energy-intensive or larger-scale businesses

If you've got a Half-Hourly (HH) meter, it will give us a 'call' to share your energy usage. We'll then send you a bill each month based on your latest consumption data.
