Can I switch my half-hourly meter to Octopus Energy for Business?

If your business uses 100MWh - 1GWh of electricity per year, you can switch your half-hourly meter to Octopus.  

To start your switch, you'll need to complete our quote request form. 

You’ll need to have a few details to hand:

Your MPAN (Meter Point Reference Number)

You can find your MPAN on a recent invoice. It'll be 13 digits long and look something like this: 1700123456789.

Your capacity (kVA)

You can find your capacity (kVA) on your latest invoice. It's sometimes labeled as ‘capacity charge’.

Your Octopus Energy for Business account number

If you’re an existing customer, you’ll need to provide your account number.

• You can find your account number on your latest invoice or via your online account. It should look something like this: A-XXXXXX
