How much does a heat pump cost?
Our heat pumps start at £500 for a standard installation (including the £7,500 BUS government grant). For larger or more complex homes, costs will be higher, but even with that in mind, 88% of our quotes are lower than the UK’s average heat pump cost of £5,321 (including the BUS grant).
All we need is a few details to generate a tailored quote for your home. We’ll use the info you give, as well as your home’s Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) from the national database, to calculate your fixed price.
We'll be able to let you know exactly what you need and how much it costs, including necessary additional works after your no-obligation home survey. Find out more about potential additional costs in the cost, grants and savings section of the FAQs.
Why is my quote higher than £500?
The work required during installation and the power of your new heat pump is based on the size and energy efficiency of your home, so the upfront cost can vary. Around 10% of UK homes will be eligible for a heat pump at £500 – these homes are usually smaller, better insulated and require less new radiators.
We’re committed to bringing down the cost of climate-friendly smart tech like heat pumps whilst making them an option for more homes. Most importantly, we want to make the choice between a heat pump or polluting fossil fuel heating a no-brainer. In the UK, the price of a new boiler (including installation) starts from around £1,500, whereas heat pumps start from £500.
Are heat pumps worth the investment?
