Shape Shifters: Export is the one for you. You can store up your power until the prices peak. Then, sell them at highest rate.

Applications to Shape Shifters: Export can take up to 10 weeks to process. When that's done, you can start exporting and earning.

You can choose from 2 versions of Shape Shifters for your incoming supply - Agile and Trio. They both give you cheaper electricity nearly all day. And they reward you for using energy outside of the 4-7pm peak.

You don't have to have batteries to join Shape Shifters: Export. But, we expect with businesses with batteries to benefit the most.
It's worth checking out Panel Power too. Your exports earn a simple flat rate of 8p per unit, all day. So you can profit on your power, no matter what time you produce it.
You get a different price every half-hour. We calculate them using day-ahead wholesale energy rates, combined with region-specific charges for using the grid to transport power.
The formula is:
APX * M + B + C
Where:
APX is the wholesale price of energy during that half-hour window. It refers to the APX day-ahead 30-minute wholesale price, converted to p/kWh.
M is a multiplier to account for things like power lost during transmissions, imbalances in the grid, and trading charges.
B covers grid charges that aren't specific to the time of day. This includes Balancing Services Use of System (BSUoS) and Generator Distribution Use of System (GDUoS).
C is for grid charges that are specific to the time of day, like Transmission Network Use Of System (TNUoS). C only applies during the 4-7pm peak.
There are no limits to how high or low the prices can go.
