How it works
1. Tell us about your site
Fill out our interest form and we’ll be in touch within 48 hours. From there, we’ll assess what could work for your site.
2. Agree on a plan and price
If a Wind Works system looks like a good fit, we’ll draft a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to secure your energy price for a flexible term of 7–20 years.
3. We build and install
The Wind Works team takes care of everything, from planning and consents through to construction, connection, and ongoing maintenance.
4. Start using your power
Once your system is up and running, you use the electricity it generates. If you need more, you draw from the grid, and any excess can be exported back or sleeved to other sites.

Once we know more about your business’s energy usage, we’ll get back to you with an initial view of what we could deliver. From there, timelines vary by site, but we typically allow around 12 months for planning and consents, and a further 6 months for construction.
A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract where electricity is bought at a set price for a fixed period of time.
Your Wind Works PPA sets the price you pay for the electricity generated by your system, giving you a stable, predictable energy cost for the length of the agreement.
No. If your installation includes other technologies like solar or electrified heat, we can wrap everything into a single PPA.
We only use turbines from sites that were decommissioned early, with components that have been carefully selected and prepared for long-term use. Each installation comes with guarantees on generation and uptime, along with long-term warranties for added peace of mind.
We also take care of all operations and maintenance, so if anything goes wrong, we fix it quickly at no cost to you.
You’ll have options: extend the agreement, have us remove the equipment, or take ownership yourself. Whatever works best for your business.
