Octopus Energy Tech Summit: Merch and Tech Bundle Giveaway terms and conditions
1. General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the ‘Octopus Energy Tech Summit Merch & Tech Bundle’ giveaway (the “Giveaway”). By entering the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 The Giveaway is run by Octopus Energy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 09263424) with registered office at UK House, 5th Floor, 164–182 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1NN (“Octopus Energy”)
1.3 These terms and conditions are the Giveaway rules (“Rules”) that apply. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules and any other instructions provided.
1.4 Octopus Energy reserves the right to cancel or amend the Giveaway and/or the Rules without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website or social channels.
1.5 In the event of any dispute regarding any aspect of the Giveaway, the decision of Octopus Energy shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
2. Entry Requirements
2.1 To be eligible, entrants must:
Be 18 or over.
Be residents of Great Britain.
Post a photo on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, or Bluesky.
Tag @OctopusEnergy in the post.
Include the hashtag #OctopusETS26
2.2 The Giveaway will run during the Octopus Energy Tech Summit 2026. 9am 22/6/2026 until 4pm 22/6/2026 (the “Promotional Period”).
2.3 Entrants who breach these Rules or attempt to enter fraudulently may be disqualified at Octopus Energy’s discretion. Social media profiles must be set to public for entries to be visible and counted.
2.4 By entering, you warrant that all information and content submitted is true, original, and compliant with the respective social media platform’s terms of service.
2.5 Octopus Energy accepts no liability for entries not received, lost, or delayed for any reason, including privacy settings or platform glitches.
2.6 Employees, contracted workers (and their families or friends) of Octopus Energy, its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, or agents are not eligible to win.
3. Prize Details
3.1 Subject to meeting the entry requirements in section 2, all qualifying social media entries received during the Promotional Period will be counted.
3.2 There will be 5 winners judged by Octopus Energy Employees from all valid entries across all participating platforms. The judgement criteria is creativity.
3.3 Each winner will receive a bundle of items including smart technology and Octopus Energy merchandise (Octo-Merch and Tech bundle).
3.4 Winners will be notified via direct message (DM) on the social media platform they used to enter after the closing date. Winners must respond and provide a valid GB based delivery address within 7 days of notification to claim their prize, or a new winner will be drawn using the same judgement criteria.
3.5 Only one prize per person/household is allowed.
3.6 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
4. Data Protection and Publicity
4.1 By entering, you agree to the reasonable use of your social media handle, first name, and submitted photo on the Octopus Energy website, social media channels, and in related marketing materials.

4.3 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn, X, Instagram, or Bluesky.
4.4 The Giveaway is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
