Through their landscape-scale approach to nature conservation, they manage 6 nature reserves and have delivered hundreds of habitat creation and restoration projects. They also provide thousands of children access to nature at their two Education Centres.

We visited the volunteers at Moseley Bog and Joys Wood Nature Reserve to help them on the activities. We collected yellow rattle seeds and spread them over the meadows. We cut some of the bracken fern that was invading the meadows to keep the sinuous shape. And we also cleared the pathways from growing branches. Throughout the whole day we had great chats with the volunteers and enjoyed helping maintain this amazing green area in the middle of Birmingham!
