Octopus Energy offering great-value eats and festival beats through ‘Octoplus’

London, 25th April 2024 - Savvy energy users can now get 25% off at six different brands of restaurants thanks to a new tie-up between Octopus Energy and Mitchells & Butlers.

From today, customers can get discounts on meals between Monday-Thursday at any Harvester, Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery, Toby Carvery, Ember Inn or Sizzling Pub – all part of the Mitchells & Butlers Group – through Octopus Energy’s rewards scheme ‘Octoplus’.

Alongside delicious meals at some of the nation’s favourite restaurants, ‘Octoplus’ members can cash in their points for cinema tickets, National Trust day passes and Octopus Energy merchandise.

For those still looking for adventure, customers already signed up to ‘Octoplus’ can also get free tickets to a festival this summer in a brand new prize draw run by the company.

There are 12 pairs of tickets on offer for a myriad of festivals, including Camp Bestival, Wychwood Festival and Valley Fest, and a ‘grand prize’ offered from each festival. The competition will run from today until 3rd May, and winners will be announced on the 7th May 2024.

Over 1.5 million Octopus customers have already signed up to the ‘Octoplus’ scheme, gaining redeemable ‘Octopoints’ simply by keeping a healthy energy account or reducing their energy usage during the company’s legendary ‘Saving Sessions’.

To be eligible for ‘Octoplus’, customers have to receive electricity from Octopus Energy, have an operational electric smart meter (i.e. receiving half hourly readings from it) and pay via Direct Debit. Business customers and smart prepayment customers can also join ‘Octoplus’.
