My meter only has one reading, why are you asking me for two?

This likely means our system thinks you have an Economy 7 meter.

On Economy 7, you have a day price and a night price for your energy, instead of a flat price all the time. Economy 7 gives you access to cheaper electricity at night (via a cheaper night rate) and slightly pricier energy during the day (via a more expensive day rate). Sometimes you have to press a button on your meter to show your second (nighttime) reading.

If an Economy 7 setup doesn’t suit you, just get in touch – we can switch you to a flat rate where your electricity is the same price, night and day.

If you’re pretty sure that there’s no second reading on your meter, get in touch as we might’ve received incorrect info about your meter from the industry database and need to correct it.
