Sometimes, you’ll be able to join right away. But occassionally, it can take a few weeks.
We run a few checks on your account when you apply to join. For example, we make sure your smart meter is working, your Direct Debit is active and your account is looking healthy in general.
Sometimes we have to fix one of these things - or ask you to - before you can join. That’s why the application can take a bit of time.
