How is the exit fee calculated?

For Octopus Energy Business customers only:

Our exit fees are calculated as a percentage of your remaining contract value, so they will decrease as you get closer to the end of your contract. We work out your remaining contract value by forecasting how much energy you will use in the remainder of your contract. To ensure we forecast this accurately, do submit regular monthly meter readings where possible!
