In our new 'Women in Engineering' podcast series, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women helping to engineer a greener, smarter, fairer energy future.
Women currently make up only 15% of the engineering field, and we’re on a mission to change that. So, we're handing the mic to the brilliant female engineers at Octopus Energy, to share their insights. Tune in to find out more about the women breaking down barriers, and the steps we’re taking to make Octopus the best place for women to thrive in engineering.

Episode 1:
In our very first episode, we meet host Zoe Geddis—who went from social work to field engineering in her late twenties. She and her OES team member Gareth Drake kick things off with an honest conversation about why this podcast matters, diversity in engineering, and how Octopus is working to flip the script.

Host Zoe Geddis is back, and joined by a powerhouse trio of engineers. Mel and Loren, who are EV engineers, and Jess the smart engineer, who’s just stepped into an exciting new role as a regional coach. Together, they chat about what inspired them to become engineers, what it's like to thrive in a male-dominated industry, and the paths that led them to where they are today.
