Shape Shifters: Export puts you in control of your export prices. By being agile with when you sell your energy, you can maximise your money.
If you have solar panels, you can use them to charge your batteries for free. Then, sell that energy for a profit when prices peak.

Shape Shifters boosts the return on your investment in low-carbon tech (LCT). It can help you to pay off your batteries and solar panels more quickly.

What is battery storage?
We're talking about big batteries here. The types that can draw energy from the grid or your solar panels. Then, store it for you to use or export later.

Which of your export tariffs is best for my business?

I only have battery storage
Shape Shifters: Export will work best for you. It gives you rates that change in line with wholesale costs. So, you can arrange to export your battery's excess energy when prices peak (normally 4-7pm).
I only have solar panels
Panel Power is made for businesses like yours. You get a simple flat export rate of 12p, all day. So you can profit on your power, no matter what time you produce it.
That said, Shape Shifters: Export can work too. You don't get the guaranteed rate like Panel Power. But, there's potential for higher export rates at different points of the day.
I have solar panels and battery storage
Shape Shifters: Export is the one for you. You can store up your power until the prices peak. Then, sell them at highest rate.
I don't have either

- ✅ have a maximum capacity of less than 150 kWp
- ✅ have a working smart meter, or other export-compatible meter
