A little change on your online account
You can now give to charity through your Octopus bills.
We’re trialling a new account feature that lets you round up your bill to make a small monthly donation to two great organisations: National Energy Action and Citizens Advice.

Throughout the energy crisis, we’ve seen an overwhelming amount of the generosity from our customers. People contact us daily to ask how they can donate account credit, solar export payments etc to fellow customers struggling with bills. We’re putting serious thought into how we may be able to do that directly. But right now, we also wanted to try this simple way to make a positive impact on every bill.
Choose a donation level through your online account, and we’ll add it as a charge on each of your monthly bills. Your donation will be split between National Energy Action, who work to combat fuel poverty in the UK and Citizens Advice, who offers free, impartial advice on everything from consumer rights to debt, energy and housing.
There’s no pressure to do it, and if you choose to and then change your mind, you can opt out at any time.
