Why do you take an advance payment?

We take an advance payment to offer you the best rates we can. It helps smooth the ups and downs of supplying businesses, and compensates for periods of estimated usage. It is usually equal to one monthโ€™s estimated energy cost, however it can be up to three months, depending on your credit score. This will be held until the end of your contract and will not count towards your energy bill.

Once your account balance is fully cleared at the end of your contract, you will receive a full refund of the advance payment.
