Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These are our prize draw terms and conditions, version v0.2 for the Octopus Energy Arsenal Green Tariff

General
1. The prize draws will be run by Octopus Energy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 09263424 and registered office 33 Holborn, London, EC1N 2HT (“Octopus Energy”).

2.These terms and conditions, together with any specific rules set out in any communications relating to the prize draws, are the prize draw rules (“Rules”) and apply to this competition. By entering this competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these Rules and any other applicable instructions.

3. Octopus Energy reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draws and/or the Rules without prior notice.

4. In the event of any dispute regarding any aspect of the prize draws, the decision of Octopus Energy shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize Draw Entry
5. If you are a customer of Octopus Energy, there is no entry fee to enter this competition. Entrants must be 18 or over. Only residents of Great Britain are eligible to sign up to Octopus Energy and take part in the prize draws.

6. The prize draws will take place one per quarter

7. To enter the prize draws, you must be on supply with Octopus Energy on the Arsenal Green tariff. One Octopus account is equivalent to one entry in the prize draw.

8. Only customers on the Arsenal Green tariff will be entered - any sign-ups onto another tariff (including but not limited to Octopus 12M Fixed, Super Green Octopus and Helpful Octopus) will not be counted and will not give you an entry into the draw.

9. Everyone who is a customer of Octopus Energy on the Arsenal Green tariff on the day of the draw will automatically get one entry into the prize draw.

10. Any entrant who attempts to take part in the prize draw in a manner which Octopus Energy deems is contrary to these terms and conditions or the Rules, or is by its nature unfair to other entrants, may be removed from the prize draw at Octopus Energy’s sole discretion.

11. A customer on the Arsenal Green tariff will only count for the purposes of this prize draw if they successfully transfer onto supply with Octopus Energy (which will require the provision of all relevant data such as name, address, contact details, payment details and direct debit information). The final decision shall be at Octopus Energy’s complete and sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into over any dispute.

12. By entering the prize draw, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. If any information you submit is found to be fraudulent or incorrectly completed or if Octopus Energy has reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of the Rules, Octopus Energy reserves the right to disqualify you from the prize draw.

13. None of the employees, or family members of employees of Octopus Energy or Octopus Group or any of its holding companies, subsidiaries or affiliate companies, their agents, or those of their respective group companies may take part in the competition.

14. No liability is accepted for entries that are not received by Octopus Energy for any reason. Octopus Energy retains the right to refuse admission of any illegitimate referrals.

15. Octopus Energy will not be liable to reimburse any expenses incurred with entering the competition.

Prizes
16. The prizes will be determined by Octopus Energy at the time of the draw and the winners will be chosen using an online random selector.

17. There will be three prizes in each prize draw, which will take place one per quarter.

18. All prizes will be allocated at random.

19. The winners will be announced on within three (3) Business Days of the prize draw and will be notified by a phone call. If Octopus Energy are unable to reach the winner by telephone, an email will be sent with details on how to get in touch with us to claim your prize.

20. By entering this competition, you are agreeing to be contacted by Octopus Energy (using the contact details you have provided us with on your account) should you win. If, after a fifth attempt by Octopus Energy to make contact with you over a period of 3 months is unsuccessful, another winner will be selected.

21. The date of delivery of prizes will be subject to availability. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable other than at the sole discretion of Octopus Energy and there is no cash alternative.

Data Protection and Publicity
22. By entering this competition you agree to reasonable use of your name and image on our website and in the media and materials produced by or on behalf of Octopus Energy should you win. Octopus Energy will retain the rights to any media and materials produced.

23. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Octopus Energy’s privacy policy shall apply to any data collected in connection with this competition and can be found on our website at www.octopus.energy/privacy

24. Octopus Energy in its sole discretion reserves the right to withdraw or vary the terms of competitions and promotions and/or any offer made in connection with them in order to comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body and shall not be held liable to any entrant for so doing.

25. Unless otherwise specified in writing, in the event that you are required to travel to take part in any competition, you are responsible for making all your own arrangements.
