The high-performance JA Solar 460W panel captures sunlight and turns it into electricity for your home. The glass panel is bifacial, meaning it can capture some light from the back of the panel as well as the front. And with its all-black finish and slim profile, it looks smart too.

Solar panels generate electricity that needs to be converted before it can be used by the appliances in your home. The Fox ESS microinverter does this, converting the electricity from your panels into electricity your home can use.
It sits alongside your solar panels and manages them independently, helping each panel make the most of the sunlight available.

You know your home best, we recommend setting up the solar panel(s) in a spot that has good exposure throughout the day. Best generation will be achieved with a south facing location and nothing obstructing the panels (including glass). It's your choice whether you want to mount this attached to a wall or secure this on the ground. Please note that ground mounted solar panels need to be weighed down with gravel or bricks.

For people confident with DIY: securely fasten the solar panel to an outside wall with the wall mount.
Each Plug-In Solar kit comes with a 5m cable fitted with a standard UK 3-pin plug, designed to connect your system directly to a suitable outdoor socket. Plug your system directly into a suitable weatherproof outdoor socket — do not use an extension lead.
NOTE: If you choose a 2-panel system, you'll still only need 1 cable. Both panels connect to the microinverter, with a single cable running from the microinverter to your plug socket.
Product delivery is estimated at the end of September in one single shipment. The delivery will be a kerbside delivery, so we recommend you have two people at home to help you get the items to their final destination.
For flats, we highly recommend that you measure any hallways to double check your panels will fit upstairs. We don't want any ‘pivot’ situations!
If you decide the product isn't right for you, we'll deduct the £50 collection fee from your returns payment.
