Making green energy cheaper for everyone
Octopus are on a mission to decarbonise UK homes.
That’s why we’ve worked hard to bring down the cost of installing low carbon tech, like heat pumps, solar and battery, in homes across the UK, making it easier and more affordable to benefit. Here are some of the other ways we’re reducing the cost of installation:
Solar panels
- Pay monthly with finance. This means you'll pay nothing upfront for your solar panels and pay them back over 5, 7 or 10 years at a fixed interest rate of 9.9% APR through our partnership with Zopa.
- Cut your electricity bills by around 90% on an import and export tariff. Octopus Flux is designed to give you the best rates for soaking up those sunny rays and selling them back to the grid in peak periods.
Heat pumps
- Get £7,500 off a new heat pump with government grant (we’ll apply for the grant on your behalf)
- Technology you can trust. We've become the first energy provider to make and install our own heat pump with easy controls and smart benefits.
- Affordable and accessible for all — most of our heat pump quotes beat the national average cost.
Once you’re heat pump is installed, you could save £100s a year on heating compared to a gas boiler with the Cosy Octopus heat pump tariff
