If your gas meter is more than 8-10 metres away from your electricity meter, or there are thick walls, obstacles or metal objects in the way, the gas meter connection can be patchy. The closer it is to the electric meter, the stronger chance it has at staying connected.
If you're not seeing your gas on your in-home display (IHD), but you can see it in your app or online account, try resetting your IHD by pressing the on/off button and unplugging the device. Wait a couple of minutes, then plug it back in and power it on.
