Can I get an Octopus export tariff if I don't have an MCS certificate?

Octopus is one of the few suppliers who’ll pay you for export without an MCS or Flexi-Orb certification. 

To do so, we require 3 documents:

• Electrical Installation Certificate

• Building Regulations Certificate of Compliance (Not applicable for Scotland)

• DNO Acceptance Letter

Once we have all the required documents it usually take 2-3 weeks to process, so you'll be on our export tariff in no time. There is a £250 fee for this service.

Octopus Energy must also be your import energy supplier and you'll need a working smart meter at the property.
