We can fund, build, and operate renewable tech on your industrial site, so that you can use the cheaper energy it generates.

How it works
It starts with a conversation. You let us know a bit about your business' energy habits. Within 48 hours, we'll tell you what we can deliver at your site.
When a plan is in place, we sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contract. Then, our Wind Works team takes care of all the planning and building.
When the tech is up and running, your lower-cost energy kicks in:
- Your new behind-the-meter generation fires up and starts producing power
- You draw your electricity from it
- (If ever you need more, you take it from the grid as normal)
- If there's any leftover, we export it back to the grid
All the while, we pay for the operation, insurance and maintenance.
How does a Wind Works installation benefit my business?
It's not just carbon-free, it's fee-free too
Most likely, only about a third of your current energy spending goes to the energy itself. Instead, it's spent on fees and levies for using the grid. By generating green power on-site, you'll bypass these payments. All the power you get from on-site generation is fee-free.
Long-term certainty, locked in
Together, we agree a price that you pay per unit of power. We fix that rate for for the length of the contract. This tends to be 7-15 years.
No capital expenditure, no risk
We fund 100% of the project. For you, it's off-balance-sheet.
We take on the costs of planning, permission, connecting to the infrastructure and more.
The level of guaranteed green energy from your on-site tech.
The estimated proportion of your bill which goes to non-energy fees. You don't pay these with Wind Works energy.
The amount of time you can lock in your fixed rate for.
Who is Wind Works for?
It's for commercial and industrial businesses from all sectors. The only criteria are that you:
- Spend over £100,000 per month on energy
- Have a power consumption higher than 200 kW per hour, on average
- Are able to sign a long-term PPA contract
