Octopus Energy achieves record customer satisfaction levels in Ofgem survey

  • 90% overall satisfaction – the highest of any major supplier EVER
  • 84% customer service satisfaction – 7 points above the next-best supplier (77%)
  • 31% fewer complaints than the next-best supplier in Q1-Q3 2025

London, 3rd December 2025 – Octopus Energy has once again scored record-high customer satisfaction ratings in Ofgem’s and Citizens Advice’s recent nationwide survey. 

The latest Customer Satisfaction with their Supplier* report, revealed yesterday, confirms that 9 in 10 Octopus customers are satisfied or very satisfied (90%), smashing the GB average of 82%, while only 3% are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied. 

On customer service, Octopus scores 84% – again beating the national average of 76% by a clear margin.

Ofgem says these are the highest satisfaction levels recorded since the tracker began in 2018, with Octopus outpacing the market across both major metrics.

The regulator’s latest complaints data reinforces the trend: Octopus has the lowest complaints of any large supplier across the last three quarters – receiving 31% fewer complaints than the next best supplier and 61% fewer than the worst performer.**
