We're on a mission to drive the global renewable revolution and make green energy affordable for all. In order to succeed, we need to build a team that represents everyone in our society.

Our internships give the next generation a chance to experience what a career in the future of energy looks like, while helping us foster greater diversity and inclusivity across our business and industry. Currently, less than 2% of the energy sector is made up of Black professionals and we’re determined to change that.

This year marks the 6th year of our Octopus in Colour Internship. Following the success of our previous programmes, we are back with paid internships across more than 10 different roles, specifically aimed at candidates who identify as Black, Black British, African, or Caribbean.

These internships provide valuable work experience for under-represented groups in the sector and aim to inspire more talented individuals to consider a career in energy.

Internships will run between 6th July 2026 and 28th Aug 2026, and will pay the Living Wage.
