There are a few reasons why your meter might be blank and not playing ball.
It might be sleeping
Press one of the buttons on the meter to see if it wakes up.
There may have been a power cut
Check if anything else has lost power. If there's been a power cut – wait for your smart meter to reboot.
If the screen says "OFF", you'll need to reconnect the meter before you can use electricity or gas.
