1. The Promotion

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the “Valentine’s Tiered Referral Promotion” (“the Promotion”).

This Promotion provides additional tiered rewards to eligible referrers on top of Octopus Energy’s standard low-carbon tech referral scheme.

The standard referral scheme Terms & Conditions continue to apply and can be found here

In the event of any conflict, the standard referral scheme T&Cs take precedence.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 12 February 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 12 March 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

To qualify for the tiered rewards, referred customers must sign their contract for eligible low-carbon technology (solar and/or heat pump) within the Promotion Period.

Octopus Energy reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion at any time.

3. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to domestic Octopus Energy customers in Great Britain aged 18 or over who participate in the standard low-carbon referral scheme.

Commercial participants, affiliates, marketing agencies, and employees of Octopus Energy are not eligible.

Octopus Energy reserves the right to withhold rewards where misuse, fraud, or breach of referral scheme terms is suspected.

4. Qualifying Referrals for This Promotion

For the purposes of this Promotion only, a “qualifying referral” means:

• A new customer signs a contract for eligible low-carbon technology using the referrer’s valid referral link;
  
• The contract is signed within the Promotion Period;
  
• The contract is not cancelled within any applicable cooling-off period. Cancelled or voided contracts will not count towards tier qualification.

Self-referrals are not permitted.

5. Tiered Rewards

Eligible referrers will receive the following additional rewards based on the number of qualifying referrals achieved during the Promotion Period:

• 1 qualifying referral – One bouquet of flowers (UK mainland delivery only).
  
• 2 qualifying referrals – One Octopus plushie.
  
• 3 or more qualifying referrals – Entry into a prize draw to win dinner for two (maximum prize value £300).
  

Only one plushie and one bouquet will be awarded per referrer under this Promotion.

Referrers who achieve three (3) or more qualifying referrals will receive one entry into the prize draw, regardless of the number of referrals above three.

Physical rewards will be dispatched within 60 days of qualification.

No cash alternative is available.

6. Dinner for Two Prize Draw

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible referrers who achieve three (3) or more qualifying referrals during the Promotion Period.

The draw will take place within 60 days of 14 March 2026.

The winner will be contacted via email. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Octopus Energy reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

7. General

Octopus Energy reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion where necessary.

Octopus Energy’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Promotion.
