Harry Redknapp

Former professional footballer and Premier League manager

Harry Redknapp is one of English football’s best-known managers. Widely admired for his man-management, his talent-spotting, and his down-to-earth, no-nonsense approach.

Best known as a player for his time at West Ham, when he played alongside Bobby Moore in the team's heyday, Harry played for over 15 years before moving into management. He coached two of his former playing clubs, Seattle Sounders and later Bournemouth. In his first job as a first team manager, Harry helped the latter avoid relegation from the football league and within three seasons topped the third division. A spell in the second tier of English football ended after a season plagued with injury and bad luck.
