What role are we hiring for?
We're working to make energy more affordable, greener, and better for everyone. And in order to accomplish this, we must communicate with them on their terms. As a result, we aim to reach out to people through as many channels as possible. We not only use digital commercials, billboards, and TV ads, but also have hundreds of friendly energy specialists knocking on doors around the country to spread the word about Octopus Energy.
What do we look for in a candidate?
Our face-to-face sales team will be different from anything you've experienced before. We are tearing up the traditional face-to-face and venue sales model where you are exactly that, an Ambassador, more than a “sales executive”. Your role will be to ensure every conversation you have delivers excellent customer service, and your team will make sure you are fully set for success.
First stop: London
What will the salary be?
You'll get a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. We are open about salary and are happy to talk about it with you at the event - it's important to us that we find the right fit for you.
Is this event COVID-safe?
Before each event, our team will be tested, and we will adhere to all government regulations. We will also have additional equipment on hand in case it is needed. Rooms will be aired on a frequent basis, and we'll have plenty of sanitiser and masks on hand!
