‘OCTOPUS ENERGY TECH SUMMIT TICKETS’ TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the ‘Octopus Energy Tech Summit Tickets’ prize draw (the “Prize Draw”). By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The Prize Draw will be run by Octopus Energy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 09263424) with registered office at UK House, 5th Floor, 164–182 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1NN (“Octopus Energy”).

1.3 Octopus Energy Group Limited (No. 09718624) and other group companies thereof may also promote this Prize Draw.

1.4 These terms and conditions are the Prize Draw rules (“Rules”) that apply. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules and any other instructions provided.

1.5 Octopus Energy reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw and/or the Rules without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.

1.6 In the event of any dispute regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw, the decision of Octopus Energy shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into.

1.7 These terms and conditions are separate from the terms and conditions for the supply of gas and electricity by Octopus Energy and will not affect your rights and obligations under those agreements.

2. Entry Requirements

2.1 Entrants must be 18 or over and residents of Great Britain.

2.2 To be eligible, entrants must meet all of the following criteria:
a) Be a current customer of Octopus Energy;
b) Have a smart meter installed at their property; and
c) Be an Octoplus rewards member.

2.3 The Prize Draw will run from 09:00 on 06/06/2025 until 23:59 on 09/06/2025 (the “Promotional Period”).

2.4 If you meet criteria 2.2(a)–(c) during the Promotional Period and fill in the Prize Draw entry form, you will be entered into the draw.

2.5 You may opt out of the Prize Draw at any time. If a winner declines the prize, a new winner will be drawn at random.

2.6 Your entry relies on data we hold as your energy supplier. By entering, you agree to this data being used for the Prize Draw.

2.7 Where a customer has more than one property, each property will be treated as a separate entry.

2.8 Entrants who breach these Rules or attempt to enter fraudulently may be disqualified at Octopus Energy’s discretion.

2.9 If a sign-up is unsuccessful (e.g. fraudulent, the entrant leaves Octopus Energy, removes their smart meter, or opts out), that entry will not be eligible.

2.10 By entering, you warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete. If Octopus Energy has reason to believe otherwise, you may be disqualified.

2.11 No liability is accepted for entries not received for any reason.

2.12 Octopus Energy may refuse any entry it deems illegitimate, at its sole discretion.

2.13 Octopus Energy will not reimburse any expenses incurred in connection with entering the Prize Draw.

2.14 Employees (and their families) of Octopus Energy or its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, or agents are not eligible to enter.

3. Prize Details

3.1 Subject to meeting the entry requirements in section 2, all qualifying entries received by 23:59 on 09/06/2025 will be counted.

3.2 There will be 500 winners, chosen from random draw from all entries. Each winner will receive two tickets to the Octopus Energy Tech Summit.

3.3 Winners will be notified by email before 17:00 on 11/06/2025. Winners will have until 13:00 on 13/05/2025 to claim their prize by paying the £20 refundable deposit - if no deposit is paid by this time, another winner will be drawn.

3.4 Only one entry per household is allowed.

3.5 The prize is a pair of tickets to Octopus Energy Tech Summit. If the event is cancelled, those customers who have paid their £20 deposit will have it reimbursed to the bank account they paid with.

3.6 All winners will be required to cover the costs of transport to and from Octopus Energy Tech Summit, along with any accommodation required.

3.7 By entering, you agree to be contacted by Octopus Energy using the contact details associated with your account.

3.8 Customers who switch away from Octopus Energy during the Promotional Period will be removed from the Prize Draw.

4. Ticket Terms

4.1 All non-photo ticket holders must carry photo ID to identify themselves as the designated ticket holder.

4.2 Tickets offered for transfer or sale will be cancelled, and admission refused.

4.3 Tickets are strictly non-transferable and cannot be sold. Full attendee names must be provided upon winning.

4.4 Digital tickets will be emailed to the winners via the email given on the entry form.

5. Data Protection and Publicity

5.1 By entering, you agree to the reasonable use of your first name and town on the Octopus Energy website, and in related media and materials.

5.2 Any personal data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection law. It will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

5.3 Octopus Energy reserves the right to withdraw or amend these terms or associated promotions in order to comply with regulatory or legal decisions, without liability.

5.4 Unless otherwise specified in writing, if travel is required to redeem a prize, you are responsible for your own arrangements.

5.5 The Prize Draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

5.6 No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.

5.7 Octopus Energy Group employees, contracted workers, and their family or friends may not win the prize.
